Ballsy is 2nd Place Winner in Creative Nonfiction Contest

Iʻve been writing nonfiction essays recently and will get back to penning short fiction again one of these days. In the mean time though, I want to share Ballsy, one of my nonfiction essays, with you. It won 2nd place in the Q3 2020 WOW! Women on Writing Creative Nonfiction Contest. The essay first appeared in Sky Island Journal, a marvelous lit mag.
