  1. I love this story, full of familiar names like Satsuki n Mieko, memories of japan tour, Fukuoka, indigo dye factory, scenes of the Hokusai waves.

  2. This is one of my favorite stories you’ve written this year. The judge’s decision only confirms what I’ve known for a long time; that you were meant to fill our world with these wonderful, short tales. Keep writing; your stories have a sensitivity and beauty I admire and look forward to more.
